Maternal, Infant, and Young Child Nutrition (MIYCN) is a programme that addresses the challenges in feeding infants and young children, as well as meeting the nutritional and biological needs of the lactating mother. Statistics show that 73% of mothers breast-feed their babies without any form of supplementation. This course by Humanitarian Global targets humanitarian professionals to help them gain knowledge to educate mothers and offer counseling during pregnancy to improve maternal nutrition practices.
