Module 1: Foundations of Community-Based Forest Management
Purpose: Build a solid understanding of community forestry principles, governance systems, and institutional frameworks.

Final Project
Participants will prepare and present a Community Forest Management and Participatory Land Use Plan for
a selected landscape. The plan will integrate stakeholder engagement, land use planning, restoration
interventions, livelihood strategies, biodiversity conservation measures, implementation arrangements, and a
monitoring framework.
