Humanitarian Global (HG) Training of Trainers (TOT) Program

This course will emphasize on Women's Leadership for Social Transformation, by showing how work power is balanced and also looking at how principles and values of leadership are implemented from a Woman's perspective.

Course Objectives

Our Training of Trainers (TOT) program is designed to equip individuals | groups in humanitarian and development sector with the skills, knowledge, and techniques needed to effectively train others. It focuses on developing trainers’ abilities in facilitation, communication, and content delivery.

Training Programme
  1. Understanding Adult Learning Principles
    • Characteristics of adult learners (e.g., self-directed, experienced, goal-oriented).
    • Learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic).
    • Engaging and motivating adult learners.
  2. Facilitation Skills
    • Techniques for leading group discussions and activities.
    • Managing group dynamics and addressing challenges.
    • Encouraging participation and active learning.
  3. Training Design and Planning
    • Needs assessment to identify training objectives.
    • Structuring training sessions (agenda setting, timing, sequencing).
    • Adapting content for diverse audiences.
  4. Presentation Skills
    • Verbal and non-verbal communication techniques.
    • Using visuals, handouts, and digital tools effectively.
    • Building confidence and stage presence.
  5. Content Delivery Techniques
    • Interactive methods (role plays, simulations, case studies).
    • Storytelling to illustrate key points.
    • Demonstrating and practical application exercises.
  6. Evaluation and Feedback
    • Measuring training effectiveness (pre- and post-assessments).
    • Gathering feedback from participants.
    • Continuous improvement based on evaluations.

    • Emotional intelligence and adaptability.

Certification
Participants will be issued Digital Certification after successful completion of the training.
